Editorial Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
ALISIOX helps international readers understand and experience Korea through practical, clearly sourced content. This policy describes the standards used for articles about K-pop, screen culture, travel, food, events, beauty, and everyday life.
Editorial priorities
We prioritize usefulness, accuracy, context, rights compliance, and reader safety. A popular keyword is not enough reason to publish. Content should answer a real audience need, identify what can change, and distinguish verified information from interpretation.
Sources
For rules, dates, prices, transport, entry conditions, public policy, and safety information, we prefer the responsible primary source: an organizer, venue, government body, tourism authority, public institution, or authorized seller. Secondary reporting can provide context but does not replace the original notice for a time-sensitive action.
Articles include source links when they materially support the reader’s decision. Sources are recorded internally with the fact-check date. Social-media posts are treated as evidence only when the account and context can be verified.
Time-sensitive information
Events, ticket rules, business hours, transport, visa rules, product formulas, and prices can change. We state a review date and tell readers to confirm the official source. Trend content receives a shorter update cycle than evergreen guides.
Reviews and recommendations
We disclose whether an item was purchased, supplied, sponsored, or visited through a partner arrangement. A commercial relationship does not guarantee positive coverage or control a conclusion. When we have not personally tested a product or service, we describe the article as a guide, comparison, or reported overview rather than a review.
Advertising and affiliates
Advertising is separated visually from editorial content and labeled as advertising. Affiliate links can earn a commission without increasing the reader’s price; details appear in our Affiliate Disclosure. Revenue considerations can influence which commercially useful subjects we research, but they do not permit fabricated facts, hidden sponsorship, or a ranking sold to the highest bidder.
Images, video, and rights
Every published asset must have a recorded basis for use, such as our own creation, a commissioned work, a licensed library, an official press asset with suitable terms, or public content whose license permits the intended commercial and derivative use. Public availability does not mean free reuse. We do not republish drama stills, fan photographs, music, or social videos without an appropriate right or exception reviewed for the use.
AI-generated editorial illustrations are identified in their media metadata and are not presented as documentary images of real people, events, tickets, products, or places.
AI assistance and translation
AI tools may support outlining, translation, transcription, tagging, or initial drafting. They are not treated as sources. Factual claims must be checked against cited material. Machine-translated content remains in review status until a language-competent editor approves names, places, dates, prices, cultural context, links, and calls to action. Unreviewed translations are excluded from advertising.
Health, legal, financial, and safety topics
We avoid diagnosing conditions or replacing qualified professional advice. Beauty content describes products and shopping practices without promising medical outcomes. Ticket, visa, tax, and consumer information links to official rules and notes that individual circumstances differ.
Corrections
We correct material errors promptly and explain significant changes. Small spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a notice. See our Corrections Policy or email admin@alisiox.com with the URL, disputed statement, and supporting source.
Conflicts and independence
Writers and editors should disclose a financial, employment, family, gift, travel, or personal relationship that could reasonably affect coverage. We may reassign, add disclosure, or decline content when independence cannot be protected.
Reader participation
Useful corrections and local context are welcome. We do not publish private personal information, unverified accusations, discriminatory material, ticket barcodes, or instructions that facilitate fraud, trespass, or rights infringement.
